"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Last thing that made me smile? Boss telling me that one of her clients wanted her to thank me. I usually don't have prolonged contact with them, so I'm unsure of what I did, but still, it was nice.

Thing that's not making me smile? Idiot on our city's editorial board who 1) is insinuating that Hilary is behind the Obama/madrassas thing, and then when called on it says, "I just said she had the most to gain! I'm just speculating! Dems play dirty too!" 2) Has been all "I could use some global warming right now!" smirky since our cold snap, as if a freeze in winter signals that global warming isn't real.

ASSHAT!

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Have people seen this book? The Pop-Up Book of Celebrity Meltdowns

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

If there's a less obnoxious co-worker you could talk with, send 'em here: [link]. The Katy Vine interview with Sterling from Texas Monthly is now password-protected, sadly.

There's a live link to the interview on there-- given some of the clues from it, I am thinking it's the same guy my associate is looking for. But I'll keep it to myself until I have to talk to him again. He really is that obnoxious.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

For $20, these had better be some special 12 pages.

Anyone else think that Cecilia is a big ho? I mean, the poor guy was up just long enough to wash his face, and....

Awesome. The cufflinks are always a dead giveaway.

The last thing that made me smile? What I'm listening to on my iPod.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Meh. I've got the headache that won't go away. I was warned, since I had the vision-distorting colored lights in front of my eyes this morning. Ick.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

What I'm listening to on my iPod.

Me, too.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Why do I have to stay another 2 1/2 hours? I'm ready to leave now.
