vanguard of the socialist Hollywood liberal homosexualist agenda

Why aren't there 12 posts riffing on this?

Because we don't want to die?

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Please don't be doing Atkins if you have a lot of weight to lose. My Dad's cardiologist said, "Atkins built my summer home."

My goal is 25 pounds or 9 weeks, whichever comes first. After that, something less cholesterol-heavy.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

But how do you women wear men's pants?
Shortwaisted, rather rectangular shape, no huge hip/ass/waist differential. I do realize I am an outlier.
I'm with sarameg. Pants need to fit for waist with me. Never once had pants that fit my waist but were too tight on the hips or ass.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I lost 30 pounds fast the first time I did Atkins. I felt great and my cholesterol went down. Some people do really good on it, and some people really don't. I don't think anyone should do it without monitoring their health until they know how they respond to it.

It's also true that a lot of people who do "Atkins" are eating what somebody told them was Atkins, so they're actually just eating really badly, eating a lot of fat and no vegetables.

Since the heart attack Dad put back some of the weight but he looks much healthier and he's exercising more. He's also in his 60s. His doc said it's not as dangerous if you are younger and not too overweight but the best diet is still (and will always be) eat less and exercise more.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

I want the magic pill that will give me energy. My eating habits aren't that bad, but I don't get any exercise. I pour all my energy into getting through the work day and have nothing left over. < fibromyalgia >

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

My clothes will come off at my hand or not all. That's how it is.

My waist/hip differential is such that low rise is perfect. Well, it's better. Even moreso these days, stuff doesn't fit at both. Low rise, however, tends to catch my at the base of my obliques, and there's a risk of muffin top.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I love low rise jeans. Nothing else fits or feels right. I have like a 0.77 w/h, so that could be better. Actually junior-plus size low rises tend to fit perfectly, which is a hoot, because I haven't been a junior for quite some time.

the best diet is still (and will always be) eat less and exercise more.

This. Alas.

I actually eat more green vegetables than normal on Atkins, though the potatoes, rice, beans and fruit that I give up more than balance it out. I think one really good thing about the way my body reacts to it is that I don't miss the breads and pastas that much when I can't have them, but I start jonesing in a major way for fruit. After my first try ended I ate a disproportionate amount of oranges, apples, and berries afterwards and lost another 22 lbs., presumably in much healthier fashion with all the extra energy and higher activity that motivated. That's what I'm hoping to do again.

Sigh. Roast was still rare after an hour at the indicated temp, so it's going to be 11 pm before this thing is edible by my standards. Though it'ssmelled great since 9:30. At least I'll get several meals from it.
