I am okay today. Despite some potentially weird job search news, not depressed.
And I got a krav instructor shirt! They're hard to come by, and I've been whining for a while. I stopped by our other location after lunch and the head guy there gave me the one off his back.
He's a doll, even if he thinks I'm a lunatic.
Synchronicity strikes again: a good friend of mine has been investigating (and reporting back) on Chinese Crested Powderpuffs. It turns out that they bear a very similar relationship to the hairless variety of the breed that Manx cats with tails bear to the tailless kind: the dominant gene (for hairlessness in their case) is deadly when you have two of them, so you hardly ever mate hairless to hairless; you'll get more live happy puppies if you hook up hairless to powderpuff or two powderpuffs.
Oh, and the hairless gene also seems to screw up the dog's teeth, many of those dogs have missing molars and such. Weird or what?
I am waiting for Peapod to get here so I can... uh, eat something and go to bed.

OK, I just turned on the tv and there was Heroes! Except it isn't supposed to be on until 9! Except I think it was a brief. Or extra. Or something.
Urghh. Just called in sick to krav with massive migraine. My bedroom's such an unholy mess that I recoil at the idea of putting foot in there. But from here in the living room I'm privy to some (pretty good) live piano. Which I don't want to be.
Well, to be honest, I don't want to move. I'm pretty much napping between sentences of this post. Right. Where was I? Urrgh. And I have a job search call still to make. I hope I can avoid sounding like death warmed over.

People kept asking me to do my job today, and I didn't have any time to play on the internets, until just now, when it's almost leaving time.
HATE THAT.
Stupid work. Having jobs, getting jobs, all more trouble than it's worth. Except for the paying-for-things part.
