Art Crawl!!!

Kalshane -- that truly sucks! But as (I think) Nutty said: at least it wasn't a job you loved.

Kevin -- whoo hoo on the abilty to get financing.

I heard that report about the carseats this morning and one of the things they said was that any carseat was better than no carseat. (Cold comfort, I know.)

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Not to mention get the UI rules sorted out so I know how to fill out the online forms?

The online forms aren't that tricky. If you do it wrong it'll just tell you where to change things.

Art Crawl!!!

Jesse - at least when you're done -- you'll be able to collapse on your comfy new bed.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

If I've learned anything from watching movies, it's useful to have your knives in a wooden block on the counter, because if you have a stalker in your home, you can easily glance over and see that one of the knives is missing.

That won't work for me, as one of my steak knives got packed into one of the book boxes that hasn't been unpacked yet (I think) and there is always a gap in the block.

I'll have to rely on the dog barking.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

A warning: The people who were to me what Lori is to ita went and had twins and now are too busy to handle my Ikea-related business.

Uh-oh. ita, you better hit the stores quick.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I need to buy a new mattress/boxspring set. I don't want to spend over 500 bucks. Is it possible to get a decent one?

JZ has done a lot of research on this (because we desperately need a new bed), and it's very easy to get a great mattress discounted. For some reason the mattress business is driven by a weird brand name shell game where they switch names on the same product and then re-market it and (as noted above) the ticking is different and glayvin.

In short, there are a lot of high quality mattresses and box springs you can get if you know to go to the right discounter. The companies will dump perfectly great mattresses and box springs because they've renamed the same product.

Or, you could see if Aly Hannigan is done with her current bed.

information libertarian

I just found out (while looking for a better job than my current one) that my 1993 roommate (on JYA in Athens, Greece) has been working on her PhD across campus from me for 18 months now.

Also, my knives are dull, I have a magnet but it's not attached to the wall yet, and I really need a new mattress.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Hm. It's either horribly complicated or a stroke of luck, then. I need a full size mattress.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Allyson, the mattresses I have were bought from a local mattress factory and were MUCH cheaper than getting a name brand. I just went to the store a couple of times and laid on the mattress to find ones I like.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Quick reality check question: I just relaized I neglected to put in two pegs. The pieces each have two other pegs and one screw. Is that plenty, or should I undo it and add the other pegs?

Ugh.
