All right, yes, date and shop and hang out and go to school and save the world from unspeakable demons. You know, I wanna do girlie stuff!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

the idea that 70 = cool just made me laugh.

70 means I'm in PJs, socks, and one to three blankets. 71 and 72 mean that too, pretty much.

My breasts got named tonight! One of the krav employees mentioned last week that hers had been dubbed "cease" and "desist" by a friend, and I bemoaned that mine were still anonymous.

I gave a great big boobie hug to one of the instructors who's a bit breast averse (well, I assume he likes his wife's just fine) and he shrieked "Shock and awe!"

And thus they were knighted. I need a shirt.

That is the pickmeup that's making today not entirely suck.

Doesn't pay for the windshield I need to replace, though.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

You have to replace the whole windshield, ita? That sucks.

What happened?

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

70 = cool

It's cool enough when one's hands tend to be room temp. At 68 I'm getting kinda chilly.

Doesn't pay for the windshield I need to replace, though.

Is this related to the machiato(?) mishap?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I had two cracks on the passenger side of the windshield. Now I have one, because they have formed a united front, which means it's cracked almost from top to bottom.

I have no idea what precipitated it--both cracks are over a year old, and they had been keeping their distance.

This is the sort of thing a cop might ticket. Not sure when I'll do it.

Grr.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

got too cold down there, the cracks had to huddle together for warmth

I'm not sure 70° is low enough to precipitate the expansion of a glass crack even if it feels cold to people used to the sunny warmness. Kick the ass of a suspicious delinquent in the neighborhood just to cover the bases?

I think I've been possessed by my mom circa 1985, as I just spent two hours scrubbing every above-floor surface in my bathroom with bleach or glass cleaner and throwing away all the musty junk that had accumulated on my shelves.

Upside: I now have a sparkling mirror wall, clean acrylic shelf and fixtures, and an uncluttered glass tabletop (balanced on the radiator) that's home to all my pretty glass candle holders and tea lights.

Downside: I have to scrub my horrific, essentially uncleanable Flapper Era tile floor tomorrow to balance it out.

I think the 70 was inside, Matt. It's been in the 40s or lower in the LA area lately (at least at night).

Ah, that would do it.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

It's 10F outside this morning. I wonder what shape my windshield will be in? I'm beginning to question the wisdom of leaving my precious car sitting outside in the weather....

vanguard of the socialist Hollywood liberal homosexualist agenda

My window was frosty and I was late for work. Guess it's winter again...

Discussion topic of the morning: If you were sitting at your desk, and heard other coworkers having a discussion, and heard one of the people say something that, to you, might be construed as being offensive (though wasn't intended as such in the course of the conversation), would you go up and inject yourself in the conversation, and then report the person to your HR department because you were "offended on behalf of the other people"?
