Don't belong. Dangerous, like you. Can't be controlled. Can't be trusted. Everyone could just go on without me and not have to worry. People could be what they wanted to be. Could be with the people they wanted. Live simple. No secrets.

What is even happening?

I definitely think that in the future all titles you suggest should come from our misspent high school years. Perhaps something from Sixteen Candles?
Nightranger here we come!

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

the librarian at my school pointed out that Curious George bears a striking resemblence to H. A. Rey's (he was the author) wife Margaret.

Wow, that woman really does look like Curious George!

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Here's a monkey but he has no tail

Old world monkeys may or may not have tails. New world monkeys all have tails. Where is Curious George supposed to come from?

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Cass, if I moved to Portland, would I ever be able to find a job? I mean, other than at the voodoo doughnut shop. Cause I have fantasies of leaving LA for cooler, rainier (not the mountain) climes.
Yes! God, we lurve the educations here. It is quite the crunchy granola area here in really good ways.

Not that Voodoo Doughnuts is bad. They have awesome shirts and I need one.

But there are learn-y jobs as well. Lots of them. Appreciated learny jobs, even.

How long can you travel? Come up and visit and see. I am enthralled with Portland. It is really amazing here. There is even climbing and such for lori. And we can trek to Joshua Tree because I also loves my mom and the scenery.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Liese, is that an invitation for everyone? For reals? ::looks pathetic::

Ayup! Everybody to my place! I've got 700 square feet and a fireplace and I'm not afraid to use them!

It's totally nuts how much musical labor is available here, for such a small town, without actual venues. But it appears that we can teach, record, and play out as much as we want to. So long as it doesn't interfere with my main gig, I say, bring it. Money to go into the house.

Tee hee! I'm just glad I got the right song. I had to google to be sure, after the fact.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

I am noncommital on Curious George (except that man, has every single toddler boy I've ever known who contained even an ounce of mischief adored him), but I have sort of a literary couple-y crush on the Reys. H.A. was self-taught but Margaret had a university degree in art! They were both born in Germany but both fled the Nazis and ended up in Rio de Janeiro, where she was an artist and he was a bathtub salesman! After their bathy-arty wedding they returned to France, which promptly fell to the Nazis, and they escaped! On bicycles!

In short, the Reys are fully worthy of prolific and even promiscuous exclamation points!
