How did your brain even learn human speech? I'm just so curious.

Our wings are not tired.

msbelle, you could teach him that it is cool to crawl into bed if he can do so without waking you.

Well, at least you gained a couple hours. (I think.)

I think I love my new floor covering. I was ok, but not enthusiastic at the store. Now? I really like it. It's woven sisal, with the long side weave (warp) being a light peasoup green, the short side natural beige (weft? It's the dominant weave,) bound with 1.5 inch peasoup green cotten.

I would like the remind the entirety of Baltimore that the answer to being bitter over your team being stolen is not to steal another town's team. Ahem.

Wait, where did the Ravens come from? (I really have no idea. Except that the name the ravens is perfect for this town. Poe and all.)

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Cleveland. At least we got to keep our name.

It was comforting during the dark years we suffered without a team, just hating Pittsburgh and not having anyone to cheer for.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

HA. This is why I can't be a regular football watcher, because I get ashamed of myself when I say things like "SUCK IT, PHILADELPHIA!"

Really? Huh.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I like the sound of that rug, sarameg. I always like sisal.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Meanwhile, I'm watching the Beastie Boys concert movie, whose title just makes me love them more: "Awesome; I Fucking Shot That!" They gave 50 audience members cameras. But seriously, people: 80s slang, a semicolon AND profanity???

This is the rug: [link] (egeby from IKEA)

The color is pale on my screen. It's much warmer. And more defined.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Now why flipflops and bathing suits are appearing in the usually-coldest month, after disappearing way back in early early fall, well, I'll blame someone as soon as I can find them.

Jesse already answered this but yeah; the last two years I was freaking dying with the weather and went to Jamaica and Cancun, respectively, and couldn't find swimwear in winter.
