I called the landlord to ask what the issue was.
He said that he posted it on his website, so he doesn't get the issue.
I said, "You think I should check your website every month before I send you the rent? You know where I live, you should have sent a letter...and I've asked around, I'm not the only one who wasn't informed."
Silence for a minute, then, "okay, whatever, you can make the deduction."
Which I wont do until I get it in writing, but I feel like I (somewhat) win.
If anyone knows of a cute apartment near Los Feliz/Silverlake in the range of $800 a month (ahhh ha ha, you see, rent control, so, that's what I pay) please let me know.

Well, at least you won't have to play the ravens, no matter what. (I think. Judging from the screams of anguish from apartments near me..) I swear, I saw more purple today than ever. There was also this goth chick, full deal...and she was wearing a purple Unitas jersey over black lace crinolines and platform boots. Almost made me stop hating the ravens cause I liked the idea of two subcultures colliding (I hate only because of the STUPID inescapable coverage.)
