Juliana introduced me to 3 Olive Cherry Vodka, for lo she is evil.
which, to take the credit, I introduced her to.
Actually, not to rain on your parade, darling, but I was drinking Three Olives Cherry & 7ups long before I knew you - we had it at the Market BBQ in MSP & it was my drink of choice at karaoke. You just supplied it when I hadn't had it for nigh on 6 months, for which I was very grateful.
YAY Consuela!!!
Gah. Still have the ick. Want to go running, but am doubtful of motivation.

ah, this I did not know. I should have realized that someone with such excellent taste would already have known of the 3 Olives
Congrats, Consuela! I hope the change is worth the stress.
It's to a much lower-stress job, although only a two-year position. Change is good, I have to remind myself of that.
It's going to be an interesting year, I think.
One of the things I'm really looking forward to is that this entity allows a compressed work schedule, so if I work 9-hour days for 2 weeks, I get alternate Fridays off. Two three-day weekends per month! Awesome!
Really, the stress is about leaving my current position, where I'm a manager and have people working for me and people relying on me. And I know I don't owe the company anything, but I really like the people I work with; so leaving them, and the flexibility of private industry, is going to be a little hard.
Congrats, Consuela!
Just tried to kill myself choking on a chip and coffee. Please let me not die of something so incredibly stupid - She died because she snacked.

Not. Helping.
Funny as hell though. Okay, goal for the day is to not have anything more than air in my lungs.
I got a notice from the landlord that they did not receive my January rent...because they have a new mailing address...and didn't tell anyone.
So I have to send another check, and there's a $20 fee for stop payment on the old check which never came back. I sent the following email to the landlord:
Hi Robert,
I'm resending my rent check to the correct address, but would like to deduct the $20 fee for stop payment on the check that went to the old address, since I wasn't informed of the change. Im sending the full amoount for January, but would like to deduct it from the February rent, and will send proof of stop payment with it.
Fair?
I hope this email finds you well, and happy new year to you and yours.
Sincerely,
Me
I mean, they can't friggin argue, right?
