"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

Replied. There's an odd delay on that.

I think that's my fault, as I forgot to hit reply-all the first time.

ETA: Heh.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

eta: This is good too: "Apparently deceased hamster revives; gnaws hole in coffin, tunnels out of grave, and finds its way home."

Is this a BBC news report or a rejected first draft of a W.W. Jacobs story?

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Gah. I should buy, right? I mean, the pieces I need come to $106 and um, I shouldn't spend money on myself but it's SO ME!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

And lo, my TiVo stopped recording. It pretended it was recording if I changed to another channel and tried to record that, but it didn't bitch when I changed channels. Just when I hit record.

So I rebooted it, and it made me go through all of guided setup again, including the channel-changing dance.

At least I've already gotten out to the gym, and have made two loaves of bread. Bank and supermarket are probably too much to ask for, especially if I intend to even make it into the building for black belt training at 5:45.

Allyson--those sheets and colours are lovely, plus they go with your apartment.
