Not to worry, Cindy -- I may have dropped the ball, but the TiVo didn't. I checked, and all three must-watch sitcoms are waiting for me.
Yay, TiVo! I reminded dh it was your tapes that first made him fall in love with TiVo, and he said, "Oh my word. I forgot there was a time we didn't have TiVo."
It's just that if I'd known, I could have spent my random insomniacal hour in the middle of the night watching, you know? Or at least not have gone to bed early.
Yes.
The Office
was really good, and
Scrubs
was all right, too. I didn't see the other two shows, yet. I started to watch
30 Rock,
but I fell asleep.
It does remind me of a name for a charity event I heard on the radio this morning: Mammojam.
It really doesn't work for me.
It sounds painful. "Help, I jammed my mams!"
Let me guess, Mammojam is an event to support breast cancer? early diagnosis?
Ugh. I need to start getting up earlier. How am I supposed to start teaching next week?
This Sunday, I need to figure out how to get my old TV and stereo to Union Square.
I need to get more friends with cars to mooch off of.
Gawd, what '70s cop show was that from?
Baretta. Tony Blake and a cockatoo.
I need to get more friends with cars to mooch off of.
I have two friends with cars, and I need to remember to mooch off them more often. It didn't even occur to me beforehand, but I bet I could have gotten the one with the Vovlo to bring my stuff back from Ikea for me.
Edit: I lie! There are three! And one has a minivan! Crap.
Don't go to bed with no price on your head,
Don't do it.
Don't do the crime if you cant do the time.
Keep your eye on the sparrow,
When the going gets narrow.
Oh Jesse, what can I say? As a mooch, you are a bit of a failure.
