These girls have the most beautiful dresses. And so do I -- how about that?

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Mmm. Pretty brothers. Thinky, thinky.

Go back to bed, ita. Call it a wash.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

No, seriously, how are you?

Feeling terribly pathetic and losery. I want to go to kettlebell. I really do. But things hurt. Like my head, and sore muscles in the necklike area.

Sometimes kettlebell helps. Actually, fairly often. But today is supposed to be a killer class, and I've spent the whole day horizontal and whiny.

What is even happening?

How could you mention the potential "24" shout-out in The Knights of Prosperity and not mention the obvious shout-out to you with the use of "Shock the Monkey"?

Wheee, I know! Why do you think I asked if anyone watched it? I was hoping you had already seen it, when I asked, this morning. Dh laughed out loud, because I fill him in on Buffista things.

(Even if I'm still minorly cranky that they changed the title from Let's Rob Mick Jagger.)
That was a terrific title. I wish they'd kept it, too.

Totally. Although please note that the t-shirt rights have already been claimed.

Thank you, and of course. I'd totally buy one of Zen's shirts. I might make it the family uniform.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

For the second time I have randomly come upon the Barefoot Contessa watched for 2 seconds and decided to record the show so I could get the recipe for what she's making. I shouldn't watch the Food Network while I'm dieting.

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

Especially Barefoot Contessa. I love her cookbooks, but the recipes are so decadent. "First, take 6 tablespoons of butter..."

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Sometimes kettlebell helps. Actually, fairly often. But today is supposed to be a killer class, and I've spent the whole day horizontal and whiny.

That's a tough call, then. My sympathies. Is it possible for you to go and beg off if you can't do it?

That's why I'm finding them so enticing, I'm sure.

I'm sorry you gotta be horizontal, ita, and really sorry that you feel bad about needing to be horizontal.

Psychologically, that's a different kind of worse. And potentially worsens the pain.

I think I'm going to just go with the lame I know. And go back to bed. Or something.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm sorry you gotta be horizontal, ita, and really sorry that you feel bad about needing to be horizontal.

Ditto.
