Zoe: What's that, sir? Mal: Freedom, is what. Zoe: No, I meant what's that? Mal: Oh. Yeah. Just step around it. I think something must've been living in here.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

I rather hope the goat quote is from shrift. It deserves to be.

It is. billytea understands the essence of people, in a way that ita never can.

I've got to skip out like the dirndl wearer that I am. Here are the remaining answers in spoilerfont:

Angstroms: Gris!

dirndl: ita, of course. Mocker of Manservents.

axe murders: Holli!

Shit's all sorts of different now.

What is the easiest way to get down to Cedars from North Hollywood? Mapquest gives me the 101. Nu and uh. Not at 6:00 on a Monday.

Cedars from N Hollywood. Yuck. That's one of those start destination pairs that's just no fun ever, unfortunately, but lemme see what I can do for you....

All the really great routes over the hill are going to dump you into Hollywood at 6:00pm and that's ugly anyway. Where are you coming from in N. Hollywood?

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Back from GaFilk, where I had a great time. However, Murphy decided to mess with me on the way home. Our flight home was two hours late thanks to the weather, so I didn't get out of the airport until 11:30 or so. At most 10 miles out from Dulles I hear an awful metallic grinding sound, so I pull over to take a look.(Did I mention it was raining?) My muffler was dragging on the ground. I call AAA, and after a long conversation where I try to explain where I am, they say they'll send a tow truck. I sit and wait. And wait. And wait.(Thanks to the nice police officer who came to check on me, then parked his car with the lights flashing behind mine until the tow truck guy came.) Finally, around 1, 1:15 the tow truck shows up and I get a ride home.

I got maybe 4 hours of sleep last night. I'm not happy.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

I was thinking of taking Laurel over the hill and then right on Beverly.

Beverly Blvd, although, Right on, Beverly! works too.

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

Tow trucks never arrive when they say they will. Bastards.

That's probably you're best bet, Aims. That will take you almost straight to the hospital on Laurel. It's going to suck anyway, but there's no two ways around that.

I mean, the hospital's not on Laurel, but Laurel is very close to where the hospital sits on Beverly
