Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Was there some contortionist ladle accident?

I would have guessed artificial gravity failure on her spaceship.

Tomato = fruit. Check!

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

I had some OJ this morning, a satsuma, and an apple. I am now eating veggie tofu & stir-fried green beans. Phear my leet produce eating!

This is such a good reminder. I'm going to reinstitute my fruit smoothie for breakfast policy...now that I'm not getting out the door to the law office anymore...NO Excuses!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Somehow juice got too sweet. Unless it's freshly squeezed OJ. In Jamaica. Not sure why.

My sister reports discomfort, not pain, with her broken toe. My mother recently had her knee replaced. She reported no pain all the way up to the surgery.

Who are these freaks? Or is my scale off? What is this discomfort thing they experience? I don't have that, unless I'm sitting in the wrong position or something, or there's a pebble in my shoe. Mostly it's no pain, or pain and then how much.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I had blueberry juice for breakfast and will probably have pomegranate juice for lunch. The Green Plant stuff I will definitely have is actually full of peach juice, so that might count.

I thought we were supposed to have 3 servings of fruit and 2+ servings of veggies. But I may be working off of old information.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

It had tomatoes on it. Does that count?

No. Anything you put on a hamburger (or veggieburger) does not count for Fruit Audit.

So Hec's never had a Hawaiian burger?

the hardest to learn / was the least complicated

I thought we were supposed to have 3 servings of fruit and 2+ servings of veggies. But I may be working off of old information.

I think Hec was just checking up on our fruit intake; not fruit + veggies. (Which, IIRC, it's recommended that adults get a combined 5+ servings a day of fruit and veggies, inclusive. I think it's supposed to slant more toward veggies than fruit, but if your choice is not having a fruit/veg at all versus a fruit, then have the fruit.)

Why would somebody want to ruin a burger by putting pineapple on it? It's an abomination.

Time for Buffista Jeopardy!

Name the person I'm quoting from BRQG:

"I think the only things I've ever received have been letters from stalkers, or from friends who wanted something more than platonic and thus filled me with an uncomfortableness.
I guess what I am saying is that I have an evidence log instead of a hope chest. "
