If you want a crappy free email address that you'd use to sign up for websites (and you fear you might get spammed) what's a good one to use? (I already use gmail.)

I created another gmail acct for this purpose and have it forwarded to my mail gmail acct.
Years ago gmail didn't want you to have multiple gmail addresses. Have they changed their position/just don't care now?
I have two.
tommy,
they don't care. I have about 4-6. as long as you don't use them for duplicate purposes or to spam. if each email address has its purpose, then they are okay with it.
I use yahoo mail when I sign up for websites.
I have at least 4 gmail accounts. I usually typed something different as a name and a "real" email address, but I don't know if that's strictly needed.
I have two -- one for Theodosia and one for the Real Name, which I can give out to possible employers, job search sites and whatnot. I get it all forwarded to Theodosia.
Gmail even lets you change the From in your replies so you don't have to change accounts.
unfortunately, depending on the email client your recipient uses, the mail can look like:
"From Theo Real Name [on behalf of Theodosia]"...
Sort of random conceptual tech-related question:
In a world of tabbed browsers, does the "length of visit" stat mean anything about a website anymore? I mean, I've had things open in tabs for hours without actually looking at them...
