No studying? Damn! Next thing they'll tell me is I'll have to eat jelly doughnuts or sleep with a supermodel to get things done around here. I ask you, how much can one man give?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Yeah, but not for $269.

This one is blue, and only $239.99. [link]

It has XP, and the 8GB solid-state HD. How can that be? (Would XP fit?) Besides the XP, this one has the specs of Linux model I have. Do they still sell the Linux one?

hip deep in pie

I am very tempted by a netbook too. Cheaper than rewiring my house so that I can take my desktop out of the basement.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

If it doesn't sell on Craigslist in 2 weeks I'll put it on Freecycle.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

XP first came out in 2001, when hard drives were much, much smaller than they are now.

I saw that one. For $30 more the black one has a 120GB HD. (Not solid state, obviously, but still. 120 is more than 8.)

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I love my pink netbook! It is actually my only computer and a great way to afford one for those of us who do not have the money currently.

My G5 is collecting dust in my storage room as well.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Wow. My work computer is a G4. Powered by a dinosaur running on a treadmill.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

how is a netbook different than a laptop? Why is the price so much lower? Is it about connectivity? it is just a browser with screen and keyboard?
