Most motherboards have a clear CMOS jumper. It is a more complete reset than resetting the BIOS via the BIOS menu.

I feel bad for the employees, and reduced competition is never good for the consumer, but it's hard to feel sorry for a company whose CEO lent a private jet to Newt Gingrich in the early 90s.

if they could compete, they wouldn't need to court favors.
Circuit City's website is down, saying they're updating to provide new deals. I'm sad to see it going down, but I never loved the setup of their physical stores.
