It takes too long for my brain to register it as Google.
Yeah, I think this is it. I register the colors as Microsoft, or something. Whose favicon is blue. I dunno. I think I don't see the "g" immediately.
The new Google icon is wrong.
It reminds me of the Microsoft/Windows logo, too.
Glamcookie, if you still have keyboard issues and end up switching I've got this keyboard from Logitech which uses bluetooth on my office iMac and it's great.
I use a Kensingtion bluetooth mouse with it.

I'm moving to Oakland, CA next month and am looking at Cable (Comcast) versus going with Direct TV. I have no idea of the pros/cons with switching to DirectTV.
Anyone here have wonder/horror stories of either?
Comcast is Satan in disguise, but that's pretty much my experience with all cable companies.
Yeah, that's what I am afraid of. I'm leaving the last independent hold out in the Bay Area (San Bruno Cable) - little cable company so wonderful that the one time I accidentally missed a payment, I got a hand-written note on the next bill asking me if "everything was okay?". I am really going to miss them.

I know my housemate didn't go with Direct TV in our current place because whatever they had to do for installation was prohibitively expensive. There is also the question of which direction the satellite needs to face.
