Our wings are not tired.

I forgot what thread I was in and was about to rant on the selling of dogs. Oooops.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I forgot what thread I was in and was about to rant on the selling of dogs. Oooops.

You'd be in the right place if they were electronic dogs....

Compassionately intolerant

Okay troops, I'm stepping away from the noose I made from an ethernet cord and am coming to you for decision-point advice.

I've done everything humanly possible with my existing technology and have failed.

Hearing my tale of woe, a friend has lent me $500...more debt. yay.

Please help me figure out three things:

1) Will this Samsung monitor be compatible with a Mac mini? It has a 15 pin D sub-connector and one of those square usb ports but I'm not sure if there is an adapter that would make it work with the Mini.

2) Is a place like DV Warehouse reputable for refurbished minis?

2a) Do you have a favorite vendor I can trust?

3) What configuration do I really need to make sure I don't end up back in the...not enough memory, not compatible with emerging technology, just plain useless...territory I've find myself in now? What is going to work for more than the next 2 years?

Signed, Woeful in Washington
