Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Oh, silly omnis, we'll always find a way.

oh for sure! New office mate was trying to create a group distribution list in Outlook. He could create the list, but couldn't mail to it. it wouldn't show up in his address book. Nothing. I was very smug knowing in Mac Mail/address book, I can create a group, and right+click it and select "send e-mail to ___".

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

My father's got a Dell Latitude (and it's so tiny and lovable that I want to squinch it).

The wireless network in the house is working, as we can see, because I am connected to it. The Latitude is also connected to it, but any requests for websites time out. Any idea what could be causing this problem? It's running XP and IE6.

The answer turns out to be outdated firmware on the router. (Four hours later.)

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Hee. Sorry about that. Wish I'd been of help.

Our current wireless problem is that our new spiffy cellular modem apparently interferes with our wireless router. For me, using the network knocks me offline. For D., he can't use the network while connected to the internet. I need to do some troubleshooting, but haven't had the time.

And of course, I think the solution is to buy a new -N MIMO router with a port specifically created for my modem. For $219.
