I mean, let's say you did kill us. Or didn't. There could be torture. Whatever. But somehow you found the goods. What would your cut be?

Would the same apply to an upgrade?

I imagine so.

vanguard of the socialist Hollywood liberal homosexualist agenda

So, am I just blind, or did several controls from the iTunes Preferences disappear with the new update? Like, how to change the settings for music importing, or the ability to make the iTunes Store arrows next to every single track not be displayed?

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

The import settings moved -- they're on the front page of the prefs now where it asks you what to do with CDs, instead of buried on the advanced tab (which IMO is a good thing, but disconcerting if you knew where to look before). No idea about the arrow thingy since I never realized it was there before.

There's still no way to delete unused genre categories, right?

Seriously, did a 19-year-old club kid pick those?

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

new iPhone update. One new feature that is cool and scary at the same time:

Option to wipe data after ten failed passcode attempts

Ya, 10 is a lot of "damn I'm too drunk to drunk dial", and good if some asshat steals your phone, so they might not get all your data. But, wow. Kinda like standing on the edge of a cliff... with a pretty good rope.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

whee!

{I'm just envious 'cause I don't have an iphone)

It's a pretty common feature on business smartphones, and one of the big reasons the first gen iPhone was slower than they hoped for business uptake was that it was too easy (at least from the CIO pov) to lose corporate-owned data on a lost or stolen phone. Not really designed for your personal convenience, or your drunk-dialing, but if Apple can spin it that way, they will...

All is well that ends in pizza.

At least it's a choice, not a mandatory feature.

Customizing the default would be nice.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Anyone here have a Blu-Ray player? Any recommendations? I have a region-free DVD player--will I be able to still be region free with Blu-Ray? Or do I hang onto my current one too?

I'm in no rush to buy. Just starting the looking around process.
