Got a question about technology? Ask it here. Discussion of hardware, software, TiVos, multi-region DVDs, Windows, Macs, LINUX, hand-helds, iPods, anything tech related. Better than any helpdesk!
Yeah, that's most likely your problem, the high resolution will really screw with the KVM.
I've had good luck with ATEN products for KVM switching and extension. They are a bit more expensive but worth it. Here's a page of some of their desktop switches. Check to make sure they can handle up to the resolution you want to use.

Dumb cell phone question: I have a Razr, with service through T-Mobile. I want to save all of my contacts from my phone to my Powerbook, 'cos I'm getting a shiny shiny iPhone soon. iSync doesn't recognize my phone (and yes, I turned Bluetooth on). Help?
so far you are beating natter -- which is less than 5 %
Jilli have you googled isync and razr? Isync supports X number of phones, and I cannot remember if razr is one of them.
If iSync doesn't work, you may want to try Missing Sync. I'm not sure if it supports Razr, though. If it does, it will transfer everything to your Mac and get you all set up in Mac's contacts/calendar etc. so when you buy the new iPhone it was transfer everything from Mac to iPhone automatically.
Never mind, looks like it doesn't support Razr. iSync does, though: clicky link! (just for you).
I used iSync out of the box with Razr, FWIW.
I am doing a 2 page brochure in Adobe indesign for desktop printing. The pictures on one of the pages print pixelated no matter what I do. THey are pictures that a) print fine in other documents and b) on the other page of the document. I also moved the picutre from the page that was printing perfectly onto the page that is not, and it to was pixelated, but fine when I moved it back.
