I don't know, connie. have you tried vixy.net?
Yay, that worked!
So what rechargeable batteries do people recommend for a digital camera (Canon Powershot A530)?
I generally don't use rechargables in digital cameras. I find they have no life at all in a gadget like that.
I found the opposite Sean. AA NiMH batteries that are at least 2200 mAh work great in digital cameras and in my old Canon A40 used to give me almost 200 additional shots over Alkaline. Rechargable 9v batteries are a different story. I used both Duracell and Enegergizer rechargables.
can't say for cameras, but we use NiMH 22mAh AA batteries for our wireless intercom. Mind you they transmit and receive radios. We could go a good 10-12 hours without needing to swap batteries.
(eta, that "we" should be "at my old job..." Ya. Not there anymore!)
I just met my sister's BF over Skype. I may not have a rocket car, but this is still cool, and a whole lot safer.
true! We're totally going to invite her and my BiL for holiday dinners this year... hee. I believe my mom will keel if there's a laptop on the table. I'm sure I will too eventually. But the novelty hasn't quiet worn off.
The newer NiMH hold a charge longer, particularly the ones marketed as pre-charged, Sean.
t / Just finished an article about rechargeable batteries
I now have the ability to get video off my TiVo and onto my computer (a Mac) for free!
Doesn't that ROCK. I love it so much. When I'm traveling a lot, I just load up the laptop, and then watch old TV in the hotel or on planes.
