And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Argh, crap - I don't know what mouse gesture I did to make Firefox open every link in a new window, but I'd like it to stop. Help?

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

Blind guess:

Do you have a ctrl key stuck down?

Huh - maybe, 'cause it's stopped doing it now and all I did was go eat dinner.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

and all I did was go eat dinner.

I love when things are that easy to fix. Yay dinner!

On the downside, I'm now dealing with a very annoying and persistant trout bone in my throat. Which um, probably has a tech-related solution and is therefore on topic?

Try opening links in new windows?

Mostly lurking...

Does anyone have a set of headphones with a built-in microphone that they're not using (like one that would have come with a cell phone or something)? I need one for my online summer courses and thought I'd check to see if anyone had one lying around before I order one.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

What's the OS X version of "reconnect at logon" for a network drive?

Our wings are not tired

ita, you need to add the drive to your startup items. In the users pane of the system prefs you can select startup items for each user. Just add the volumes you want mounted to the list using the "+" button.
