A note: The "rubbing alcohol on Q-tip" method of cleaning keybards seems remarkably less safe on Macbooks than on iBooks/MacBook Pros. I assume this is because of the chiclet keyboards. Discovery of this fact may soon cost me several hundred dollars, as liquid damage is decidedly NOT covered.
I would replace the top plate myself, but that would void the warranty on my month-old laptop. Sigh.

Dammit. I need to go *now* to pick up a new hard shell case for my iPhone. I just dropped it on the sidewalk. Two corners are abraded, but it otherwise seems to be functioning fine.
I'm why I can't have nice things.
ETA: My last hard shell case has not been replaced yet, so this was a caseless drop.
