They had a refurbed 15" Macbook Pro the other night for $1299 and one for $1499 last night. You tend to have to be up to check in the middle of the night for those deals though as they sell quickly.

Yeah, that kind of hacking is definitely only for people who actually enjoy it -- and it's often enough headache-inducing even then.

yeah. i was on the radio this morning and i have a podcast of the show, but i just want to extract the part with me. it's about a 40 minute show and the segment with me in it is about 5 and a half minutes.
How about audacity?
It will lose quality, but it won't make any notable difference for speech.

That's why I suggested ffmpeg. Unfortunately, I can't seem to find a simple windows binary.
I downloaded Audacity, but apparently i'm a MO-ron and i can't figure it out.
Are you able to get it installed and install lame?
