What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Using only one adapter is less messy than using two.

Oooh, I think I see what you're saying.

What are things to look for in an AC/DC adapter? It looks like some are 4 amps and some are 5 amps, and I don't know if any particular brands are better than others. Amazon reviews appear to be mixed for all of them.

Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer says the company could extend the shelf life for Windows XP based on customer input.

Vista really is the New Coke. Maybe they should just rename Windows XP to Windows Classic and be done with it.

I use Vista and have to admit it has worked just fine for me.

I don't think the extra 256MB of video memory on the higher-end MacBook Pro is particularly useful for video editing. It would provide more of a benefit for 3D games.

The 15" MacBook Pro doesn't have an option for a higher resolution screen. I imagine Sean is thinking of the 17" model.

You definitely want to go to a store and look at the glossy and non-glossy screens before choosing one. Opinions vary greatly as to which one is better.

Oh, yeah. I was perhaps unclear on that. And yeah, the hi-res screen isn't available on the 15", sadly.

Der. Yeah. I realize now it sounded like I was saying it would only cost Jess $200 more to get a hi-res screen, and not the $1,200 it would take.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Aha! That would explain why I didn't see it on the options page.

I think the 17" model might not be portable enough for me.

I just dropped $100 on a backpack for my 17", because one day of carrying around S's 13" wrecked my back for a whole day.

If that's the only difference then, yeah, zero use for video editing. The extra memory is for storing textures used in 3D games primarily.

That's good to know. You guys have just saved me $500!

Jessica, what aspect of the 17" do you think will ruin the portability for you?
