Hey. New board.

Google/Yahoo groups are always an option for short-term discussions. I tend to think of them as mailing lists more than forums, but they can easily be set to read-online-only by default.

Not only does my husband's new laptop suffer from catlike typing, we've also had cat-like bidding due to Hubby leaving the screen on eBay and the cursor too close to the Buy Now button. We very nearly bought an engine for a Model-T, and it would have been very difficult to explain to the yacht company why we were having to back out of the deal to pay $300,000 for that very pretty sailboat. I don't think "My cat bought your boat" would fly.

Anyway, Hubby's been investigating cat-proofing software, and the big name, PawSense, is having a server configuration interruption in service. Does anyone know of any cat-like-typing blocking software other than PawSense? Yesterday Amon was saved from going through a window only because he couldn't figure out how to say yes to "Would you like to format your hard drive now?"

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Bwah! Do you think that cats have infiltrated PawSense and are reconfiguring their server?

Be sure to pick a password that the cat can't guess.

you can also set your screensaver to password protect so that if you go away and forget, it locks the computer.
