Death is your art. You make it with your hands day after day. That final gasp, that look of peace. And part of you is desperate to know: What's it like? Where does it lead you? And now you see, that's the secret. Not the punch you didn't throw or the kicks you didn't land. She really wanted it. Every Slayer has a death wish. Even you.

Lurching from one disaster to the next.

Consuela ... try Exact Audio Copy from this [link]

It's freeware, not shareware.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Is there a way to make Wordpress display more than 20 comments at a time in Mass Edit mode? I'm de-spamifying DH's blog, and it's taking for-freaking-ever.

I'm not talking about the moderation queue - these are comments that slipped past the filters and were automatically approved. I've now changed the settings so that you need a previously approved comment or else you get moderated, which should keep things pretty spam-free in the future, but I was lax about it for so long that there are close to 30,000 spams that need to be deleted...20 at a time...

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

Is there a way to make Wordpress display more than 20 comments at a time in Mass Edit mode?

The 20 seems to be hard-coded into edit-comments.php. If you're self-hosting and feeling adventurous, you could go through that file and change all the 20's to something bigger. Or maybe there's a plug-in (I couldn't find one, but I didn't look very hard)?

Art Crawl!!!

Help!

I bought a nano on Saturday and today I'm trying to charge it up and when I first plugged it into the USB port - my computer told me that it didn't recognize it and it is malfunctioning so try again. Which I did - and got similar messages but now I'm getting nothing. Does this mean my ipod's cord is frelled or is it the two usb ports on my home computer?

Okay, I got the book on cd ripped in via iTunes. It's just annoying because then I had to use MP3 converter to make it an audiobook. iTunes should have an mp3-to-audiobook converter built in...

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I think you can just tell iTunes that an mp3 is an audiobook. (He says, without checking iTunes first.)

OK, I think that what you do is go to "Get Info" and change the Genre to AudioBooks. You also might want to check "Remember playback position" under Options.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

What tommy said has worked for me. I've never had to convert anything again, but I use iTunes to listen to it in.

Lurching from one disaster to the next.

Jessica ... what Jon said ... or, if you're feeling really adventurous, another solution I found is to edit the comments database using PHPMyAdmin.

From Wired.com:

Toshiba put HD-DVD out of its misery today. Reuters confirmed this afternoon that it will cease manufacturing HD-DVD equipment, following earlier reports from Japan's NHK public broadcasting network.

So I guess this means Blu-Ray wins?
