Buffy: So how'd she get away with the bad mojo stuff? Anya: Giles sold it to her. Giles: Well, I didn't know it was her. I mean, how could I? If it's any consolation, I may have overcharged her.

All is well that ends in pizza.

I unplugged the USB keyboard unexpectedly and it crashed. When I tried to restart, it wants the XP disk. I have an XP disk, but not the one that was used to load it on the computer.

Should be okay. Unless you are doing an install, one should be as good as the next for the files it wants.

Chances are it won't be asking for files that vary much between versions.

yeah, I wouldn't think so, but it won't read the new disc.

Vortex,

you have to pay for it, but it is nominal (from what I recall) and recovers music. It does screw with tags a bit, so be prepared to do some library editing when you get it back to itunes.

Thanks for asking that question Vortex. I've lost my library too, except for the little bit of it that was on my ipod. Bah.

Along those lines, I'm wondering what it will take to get new copies of the songs I purchased through iTunes. If they weren't burned to a cd, I'm screwed right?

Also, the copy of Contribute I just bought from Adobe? Not looking forward to that phonecall.

Question...does the Netflix, online movie viewing option work through virtual PC? I googled, but I can't find a good answer.

When I got my new computer and hooked up the ipod, it knew there were songs on the ipod not on teh computer and offered to move them. But I don't think it'll do that for purchased music.
