do you have the option on the airport to say "these M.A.C. address's only". You might have to add the MAC address on her wi-fi card to the list.

Interesting site I just learned about:
www.seeqpod.com
you can search and listen to pretty much any song. Also works on the iPhone. Not sure about other mobile devices.
I don't think it's the MAC address - I haven't enabled that on this network. It's weird - her computer is giving her this error that says the password needs 13 characters even though I know it only has 7.
It is WEP. And I was wondering if I pick my own 13 if that might make a difference. Perhaps I"ll try again in the morning.
Thanks DX!
I got a message to take out the cable card in my cable box earlier today. I did, and everything seems fine. But could it be because I had the box sitting on it's side?
A Steph, a thought. It might be, with us Mac users, we can type a password of "any word", but then some Win users need the hexidecimal version of it. I seem to recall that it could be fixed by setting the password in quotes on the airport. Not 100% sure on this, but worth a try. Then, on your Mac computers, you'll have to retype the password with the quote marks. IIRC, the win machines ignore the quotes, but use the word you type and not hex.
Again, I might be wrong. But something to try.
Just did some Skype test calls with my Dad, Skype-to-landline and Skype-to-Skype. I'm impressed. The sound quality was very good -- better than our cellphone-to-cellphone calls. Earphones are a definite necessity to avoid the stadium echo effect.
That reminds me, I've been meaning to ask if anyone has recommendations for webcams that you can use with Skype for video calls. My brother and his fiance use it all the time to talk to her brother and their friends in Moscow, but they use a built in camera on their Mac. It was actually really fun, and I'd love to try it out, but I'm not getting a new computer over it.
