But I understand. You gave up everything you had to find me. And you found me broken. It's hard for you.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Have people seen this?

Head Tracking for Desktop VR Displays using the WiiRemote

I'm not entirely sure how it works, but it's pretty amazing. I also don't know why you can't just put the Wii Remote on your head. Isn't it all relative?

I do believe in killing the messenger, you know why? Because it sends a message. ~ Damon Salvatore

If you check out his website, he does even more cool things. Like manipulating the visuals with your fingers like in Minority Report and creating an interactive virtual whiteboard (which is FUCKING COOL).

God damn it, my new digital camera can't load on my old computer because the OS is too old!!

Freakin' WindowsME...

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

Does the camera have a removable memory card? I've got a SanDisk multiple-format memory card reader that works very well with WinMe.

eta: This one. Although the link is from Amazon.com, ISTR I got mine from Best Buy. Or maybe Wal*Mart.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Freakin' WindowsME...

We have that on our possibly defunct desktop. It's a giant POS.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I disremember - can Windows ME mount a USB camera as an external drive? I think so - I think it was Windows 97 that required a driver to be installed for every USB thingie you wanted to use.

Anyway, if that's the case, Kathy A can just drag and drop pictures from her camera to her computer, and not install the camera software at all. Right?

Thanks for that, tommyrot!! I pulled out the more detailed info, and it says on the front "You may download images without installing this software on recent OS other than Windonws 2000, with limitations." So, it looks like I can probably do that, at least until I can afford a new laptop.

Thankyouthankyouthankyou!!

Kathy, for WinMe, you will still probably have to search the camera manufacturer's web site for the drivers. What make/model camera is it?

A Canon PowerShot A720 IS. In the System Requirements chart, they don't even mention ME as a possible workable OS, just Windows 2000 and newer ones.
