If you mean ordered stuff from Newegg, then I've done that many times.

Got a question about technology? Ask it here. Discussion of hardware, software, TiVos, multi-region DVDs, Windows, Macs, LINUX, hand-helds, iPods, anything tech related. Better than any helpdesk!
I've bought stuff from Newegg, too, and haven't had any problems. I'm going to miss CompUSA, despite not liking them very much. I stopped shopping there for a long time in the 90's because they insisted on searching through the bags on the way out, bags you'd just paid for not thirty seconds before and twenty feet away, generally treating customers like criminals. They did finally give that up, and I started going there again. Unfortunately, they're the only option in my neck of the woods that had any kind of decent selection computer parts, especially for the kind of stuff you need to build your own machines. Very handy when you blow a power supply and need a replacement NOW.

Newegg rock! Great prices and really fast standard service. I've ordered many times and never had a problem.
I also like that Newegg shows you the price, not the price after rebates.
I will not miss CompUSA. In my experience, they alternate between completely ignoring you and talking to you as if you're 7.

I like the "True Story!" note....
I don't have any love for CompUSA but it is kinda sad to see them go. They were one of the first big computer resellers. Originally they were called CompWarehouse or something like that. I remember going to the one in San Diego in the late 80's.
So my MacBook started doing this thing where sometimes the display flickers. I'm pretty sure it's the backlight that's actually flickering. It tends to happen when the display dims itself automatically after a period of non-use.
Any ideas? My guess is hardware-related. (Boo!)
eta: I mean my MacBook, not iBook. Which makes a difference, as the iBook did have that screen defect that was subject to the Apple recall thingie....

We've got a MicroCenter in Chicago where I tend to do all my non-Apple Store shopping. I went to the CompUSA store in downtown Chicago when they were having their going-out-of-business sale a while ago, but nothing jumped out at me that I had to buy....
