Anyone know why Windows Explorer would suddenly stop refreshing files? Like you can delete a file from within Explorer but it still shows up until you manually refresh Explorer?
This is my boss's work computer. XP Pro, up to date on service packs.

EEStor's system--called an Electrical Energy Storage Unit, or EESU--is based on an ultracapacitor architecture that appears to escape the traditional limitations of such devices. The company has developed a ceramic ultracapacitor with a barium-titanate dielectric, or insulator, that can achieve an exceptionally high specific energy--that is, the amount of energy in a given unit of mass.
[..snip..]
A lot of people are very skeptical about their claims, though.
Me among them. If it turns out not to be a scam - terrific. But there is a real reluctance on the part of the company to make information public. They come across to me like a company out to sell stock, rather than a company out to sell product; may events prove me wrong.
I know I should know how to either do this or find the answer, but I'm tired and stressed.
I have an image contained within a DIV. How do I center it? I've found text-align, but there's no text in the DIV. I can do it either by aligning the image, or all content in the DIV -- either would work.
Edit: This is using a link to an external CSS.
In 'holy crap that's really cool' news, this dude modded his Honda Civic del Sol into a replica of an x-wing. Dude. That makes my day.
I think there have been some advances lately in ultracapacitors where carbon nanotubes have been used to drastically increase the surface area and therefore the energy storage density.
Doesn't sound like what EESU is doing, but ultracapacitors do show promise as a better alternative to batteries for electric cars.
Oh we are going to get ultracapacitor battery replacements at some stage. Phillip K. Dick even saw it coming when he coined the term Batacitor. My skepticism is over this company will be the one to do it. Supercapacitors are a perfect technology for a scam - because everyone is expecting the breakthrough. But it would be wonderful if EESTOR was the breakthrough, and not a scam.
Someone hacked my boss's eBay account. They have listing dozens and dozens of stuff for sale within a very short time. My boss changed his password but the naughty person is apparently still logged in, as more stuff keeps showing up for sale.
Anyone know the best way to deal with this? For some reason, the live chat thing isn't working for him. He did notify eBay of the fraud and immediately got some sort of form letter back.
Can he access the auctions that dude is putting up and take them down or put a fraud warning on them?

So far he's been unable to figure out how to kill the auctions. But the fraud warning thing is a good idea.
Batacitor
Dick was crazy/brilliant/crazy as always, but the marketing weenies are going to want a name that shouts "Batcave" a little less.
