Sorry, Captain. I'm real sorry. I shoulda kept better care of her. Usually she lets me know when something's wrong. Maybe she did, I just wasn't paying attention...

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

For a WebDAV-accessible folder to which I apparently have edit access, shouldn't I be able to create a Network Place for it and browse files? I mean, there must be something in the OS I can use to troubleshoot (and hopefully avoid installing MS Expression).

No problem. Oh, I have a check for you. If you want to pick it up you can swing by HHN or I'll just hold it until I see you next.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

ita, yes. You need to have the web address for the webdav folder, just put that in there, then it will ask for user name and password, and then you should be able to access it like a folder. Granted, it may take a bit if there are a lot of files and folders, but you can see it in explorer.

ita, on a mac, I think you can mount it as another drive.

Excellent! I'll try to swing by tonight, but it depends on how dead on my feet I feel after work tonight.

I put it in, and it doesn't ask for anything (I'm guessing it might be using Active Directory authentication), but I can't see anything. I'm harassing this coworker who just wants me to install Expression (her version of rebooting just to be sure) and try it from there, but that's a whole drama unto itself.

If I could say with authority that I don't have WebDAV access, maybe I can stick with my choice of tool, since the problem isn't the tool.

And FEH! It figures. There are several albums in my collection that have no artwork available from iTunes. Tool being the big one, which is not surprising, since Tool won't list their albums on iTunes either.

Okay, if I leave early I'll leave your check with Cricket.

You can always just find the artwork on Amazon and then copy and paste it into the Artwork window in the "info" pane of your iTunes track.
