Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

what is a realistic price to not end up with crap?

I wouldn't pay more than $25.00.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Cool. What sort of store is a good bet? Local AV?

That's where I found mine.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

IIRC, we paid $20 for a DVI HDMI at a Tiger outlet, if you have a physical store nearby.

I am so psyched. Assuming all goes to plan I could be HDed up by Monday afternoon.

Our wings are not tired

Amazingly I've gotten good prices on interconnect cables through Amazon.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Awesome. I envy your setup.

We're talking new gear, but what with the whole going into debt for the rest of our lives thing and all, dunno if it'll actually happen sooner or later. Nonetheless, that reminds me that I need to call the cable company back. They were supposed to call me, but I am shocked, shocked I tell you, that they didn't.

But I'm pretty sure it's their buried cable at the end of my street-to-be, so I think I've got better odds sticking with the setup I have now (Directv, cable internet, vonage) than trying to get landline phone over there.
