I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Okay, are you working in Word, or in the WYSIWYG editor in RoboHelp?

Can you use nested unordered lists to maybe achieve what you want? (Use the *ul* tag, but not individual *li* tags.) Or use a table without borders?

So it looks like Miss Edith (my iPod) does have the album art but when I play a song on her when in iTunes, the art doesn't show up.

I don't think the album art shows up by default in iTunes. There's a button in the bottom left that will show/hide the album art.

I wrote and formatted a bunch of docs in Word and am moving them into the WYSIWYG editor in RoboHelp. The formatting doesn't copy over though so I am trying to recreate it. Which I think may be impossible.

I haven't tried to use a table yet. That might help.

But I just don't understand why something as basic as setting tabs should be a problem.

Thank you!

I'm afraid some of it might, yeah. And Adobe has bought RoboHelp since last time I used it, so I'm betting my knowledge is pretty severely out of date.

At the bottom of the screen, are there tabs that say something like "Design View" and "HTML"? Can you get to the code that way?

What about saving to HTML in Word and then pasting the HTML source directly into the HTML view in RoboHelp?

There is. It's labeled "True Code" but if you've defined and applied a style it just shows the name of that style. A

I'll try that!

Yeah, I don't think I ever used styles, so I can't help you there.

WHOA! Hang on. It looks like I can actuallly just import the Word file and it preserves the formatting. der. (It does turn the tabs into spaces which is irritating but I can live with it.)

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

This is a silly, stupid question, but USB ports on laptops are the same size they are on desktops, right? That is, I can plug an external desktop HD into a laptop with a USB cable?

Well, there is USB A and USB B types of ends. Plus, there are a couple flavors of really tiny USB that are on camera's and phones. [link]
