"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I haven't been able to access my gmail account on my computer for two days. I can access it fine from my cellphone but not from my computer. The page keeps trying to load but won't fully load. Any ideas on how to fix this?

ETA: I tried deleting browser history and cookies, and that didn't help.

sj,

have you tried to access it through m.gmail.com? That's the mobile version. If you can access it through that, go to the bottom of the page and click "basic html" link and see if that works. If it does, I wonder if the chat element is fucking with your gmail access. Turn that off and see if it all works again.

Thanks, le nubian! The m.gmail.com works as does the basic html link.

Of course now amazon.com won't let me sign back in because it says that cookies are not enabled, which they are.

I just downloaded Firefox and all of the computer problems went away, including my being unable to access Yahoo games which has been going on for months. Bye bye IE.

Tho I have been noticing Gmail loading attachments reallllllllly s-l-o-w. Glad to hear it's all ok now. Ya, Firefox is so much better. I urge you to try the plug in for Adblock. You can stop vast majority of annoying banner ads that annoy you (well, at least they annoy me).

Does anyone know how to make an email distribution list in outlook out of about a thousand emails I have in an excel file?

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

The only way I can see is to export the spreadsheet to a text file, then import the text file into your address book, and then create the distribution list from your address book.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Apparently it can be easily done: In Microsoft Outlook, how can I import address information from an Excel workbook into my Contacts list?
