Got a question about technology? Ask it here. Discussion of hardware, software, TiVos, multi-region DVDs, Windows, Macs, LINUX, hand-helds, iPods, anything tech related. Better than any helpdesk!
I need to, for reasons, permanently block a game url from my system. Like, forever. All browsers.
google tells me to use terminal, which scares me a lot.

Any suggestions? Or positive experiences?
My home desktop now has 32GB of RAM. It's nice to have plenty of memory.
I just can't be bothered to take my damn iPhone out of my pocket every fucking time I sit down
I can't recall if you ruled out Bluetooth headphones?
I want one of the fancy new MacBook Pros, but my current one is working fine and I've declared a moratorium on "expensive shit I don't really need" until my job situation is clarified a year from now.
I've switched over to some of the new bone conduction headphones. There are a lot of situations where I really like them now.
Is anyone on Fi? I'm thinking about getting a Pixel and switching to it.
Google Fi? Yes, I have it, though I have a Nexus.

I think, as is, it's probably best for single users, rather than people who'd benefit from a family plan. I pay $30/month for unlimited talk and text and 1GB of data. If you go over your allotment, they pro-rate the charge. If you don't use the full allotment, they credit it toward your bill.
I have had times when my phone just doesn't ring and I miss a call, but that's been true of other services I've had. I had to call customer support a couple of times when I was getting it set up, and they were immediately available and very helpful.
It's pretty much perfect for me.
