I have a Roku 3 that can't sign into Netflix. When I try to sign into Netflix I get an invalid account credentials message. I've very carefully tried the password like six times and I'm sure I got it right. I can login to Netflix on my computer. I can login to Netflix on my other Roku 3. What the actual fuck?
I suspect gremlins. It would explain why power cycling the router and modem (to see if we could get DH's work computer to see the network) caused everything to go offline until I did it five more times, including a call to Optimum in which the CS rep told me that the modem and laptop (which had taken a little while to see each other while connected via ethernet) were "like a boyfriend and girlfriend who weren't speaking to each other but then make up again."
Huh. Not sure if this is coincidence or not. Seems if I carry my keyless entry car keys in the same pocket as my iPhone 6, it doesn't count steps. I've noticed yesterday that I hadn't logged any steps in a few days. It dawned on me today, that it coincides with the day I changed pockets for my keys. Switched the keys back. Took a walk to the loo, and suddenly my phone popped up with 2000 steps for the day (which sounded about right). Most curious. Again, could be a coincidence. Was wondering if anyone heard about something like this?
Poll: What is your favorite e-reader?
I love my Paperwhite, even though it is part of Amazon's evil empire. the battery life is excellent, it's hella light, and it talks to my Calibre so I can sideload fic.
The alliterative Aldiko app on an Asus Android tablet.
I still like my crazy old in technology years Kindle. It's from 2010 and has buttons. I much prefer the Kindle non-backlit screens for reading.
Kindle Paperwhite FTW!
I love all kindles. Lately though I have actually been doing more reading with Moon+ Reader Pro on my phone. Mostly out of convenience and in-pocketness.
Were I buying something I didn't already have, yeah, paperwhite. Get caliber set up and you can even read non Amazon books on it pretty easy and it is Library compatible too.
