I am going to try seeing if the SSD is readable out of Smonster's water-dead Macbook Air (2010 model).
After that, I may try to replace the Mobo and power board for my own project.
Anyone have any spare parts for Macbook Airs? I'm hoping to find one with a smashed screen, but so far, prices are hella high for spare parts.
I guess I'm hesitant to take the $25-$40 plunge for just the power board just to see if it's the board, Board and Mobo, or just Mobo.
I have an iPad mini and the email has stopped working - it still displays, but I can't go from the message displayed to the in-box. Can't even delete the message displayed. It seems to be locked up completely, although it's displaying one new message.
I've tried turning the iPad off, backing it up, whatever I could think of. Any suggestions?
Have you tried using a different email app, like Outlook?
huh ... nope, hadn't thought of that - I figured since it was what came with the iPad, it was what you had to use with the iPad (sorry ... I've never used anything Apple before I got this ... mostly I use it to send photos of my manicures to a couple of friends)
Have you restarted the iPad? Hold down the power and home button until it reboots.
um ... which is the home button?
The button you use to close apps. Hold them down together until the screen goes dark or, if you want to be particularly sure, until the Apple logo appears on the screen.
Thanks! I'll give it a try (I SAID this is the only Apple device I've ever used).
