[link] That link tells me the Samsung 4k IPS monitor that is normally 700 is currently 400.

Woot has a good deal on a Samsung 4K monitor. I can't say I've used this personally, but I've had good luck with Samsung displays overall.
I have to admit I got one of the new Retina 5K iMacs and I am not officially ruined for pretty much all other monitors. I keep eyeing 4K monitors to replace my current HP 2560x1440 second monitor because the difference between the two resolutions is so crazy.
I'm not so much interested is resolution as I am in color accuracy and gamut. I'm not even sure my Mac Mini can drive a 4K display.
Then you may want to look at some of the other Samsung displays that Woot is currently selling and see if any of them will suit your needs. There is a good chance your Mini cannot drive a 4K display actually.
Monoprice has a lot of monitors on sale today too, including a 27" IPS display. I can't speak to their color accuracy, but they have received generally good reviews from what I've seen in the past. No idea if those reviews were by color experts though.
The 27" IPS display is an LG panel, if that means anything.
My eyes are bad enough to have trouble reading my current (24 inch) diplay. I may get a new monitor for Xmas. I'm going to go look at various monitors at best buy to get my specs than find an equovalent on line. What do I need to watch for besides specs. That is two monitors with the same specs are not neccesarily the same. Are there brands to avoid or watch outfor? brands to stick to? Is reg screen better than wide screen? I'm hoping a 27 inch will work, cause they get much pricier past that.
So being the new Apple specialist at work I got the work iPad so I can learn and use and demo. Even though I mainly sell computers. Anyway I have been saying yes Applease OS is easy to learn and switch from.
Instead I've got this setup and dis covered it doesn't come with a calculator and something else I needed yesterday and can't remember. I cant figure out how to close appsmy I know I have a ton running but...I won't say it's not intuitive but goin from android to this is weird.
askye, I also had to download a calculator app.
To close apps, double-tap the Big Round Button. The various app screens will line up like pages on a table. Flick them upward to stop running that app.
Yeah, there are weird little quirks like that that you don't figure out automatically.
I only quit iOS apps if they're misbehaving and need to be restarted. So I do that maybe a few times a month.
If you have a ton of apps open iOS just unloads from memory the ones you haven't used lately. (iOS saves the state of the app so when you go back to it it appears the same as when you left it--as if it was in memory all the time.)
eta: Some apps, like FaceBook and gMail, will keep a small part of the app in memory to check for alerts, new emails, etc.
