I don't even know what turning safari on in the cloud settings means!

Got a question about technology? Ask it here. Discussion of hardware, software, TiVos, multi-region DVDs, Windows, Macs, LINUX, hand-helds, iPods, anything tech related. Better than any helpdesk!
I don't either, so I'm probably saying it in a way that doesn't make sense. What I do know is: if I look in Setttings and tap on iCloud the toggle next to Safari is slid over to the right and green. What that does I don't know. Syncs stuff? Possibly passwords?
It means if you have tabs open on one thing (say, your iPad) you can then later access them on your other device (say, iPhone).
Ok. I have that on too, but I still have to log in. I think my phone just hates me!

Whoa! I will say it had an excellent Pandora client, but otherwise--now why bother.
Okay I think I figured out the iPhone thing with being logged out. I didn't even realize it but I had turned on privacy mode in safari browser. If it's in privacy mode your search fields and browser perimeter is black. Click on lower right side to see all the pages you have open and in the view the lower left will say "private mode" or something. Click that to turn it off. Good luck.
Java, that is it!
Great!!
Is there a software program out there that will automatically transfer handwritten text on a tablet to a searchable spreadsheet?
