information libertarian

I don't think there is a paid version! Just, we use the web site, but there are also apps, and they, like the web site, are free.

Hey. New board.

If you like envelope style budgeting rather than automatic transaction tracking style budgeting, I highly recommend Goodbudget. It's a very different style of budgeting system but I love it immensely. It helped my marriage a lot too as there are no more fights about who is spending more of our money frivolously. I love love it. I only use it for discretionary purchases - regular expenses (bills, daycare, mortgage, even subscriptions) are budgeted for me on a spreadsheet since they don't change much or at all month to month.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Q: Hey, what is the difference between GOTO and GOSUB?
A: Oh, GOTO executes the next line and GOSUB you need like a return command at the end.

Would your programming teacher accept that (I guess I'm asking the olds, here) as an answer, or do you think there was a better way to say that for the TV audience? Because now I don't trust the things I don't know the answers for...

Our wings are not tired

I would think that a little more clarity is needed. GOTO moves to an indicated section and begins executing code from that section, GOSUB indicates that it will run a subroutine and then return to the section of code that was being executed.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

But I don't think the explanation really helps the audience understand that it goes somewhere else and keeps going, and GOSUB will come back and keep going from whence it was sent.

The character's response is, admittedly, "this is confusing." But the answer doesn't make me think of her as a computer expert, even if an antisocial one.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Dana,

if you want to see ahemmed media that is current or from the future, I recommend a service called put.io.

they have a roku channel, so depending on the format the ahem is in, I can watch it on my roku connected to the tv. I don't download it to my computer at all.

OK, recommendations on photo organization? I scanned approximately 1000 photos with my sister this weekend, all family pictures from the last 30-40 years. A LOT of pictures. Some will likely need a bit of editing. But I don't want to put them all in iPhoto, so I'm thinking there's gotta be a better solution out there, for organizing and maybe for some of them tagging/putting in info like dates and things--suggestions?

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

So I spent $300 on a business website on Wordpress.com, and only after the refund period expired did I learn that I can't use it (for reasons it is unnecessary to explain at this juncture).

Anyone want to buy it off me? I can give you a good deal...

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I am not sure if this is a board problem or an iPhone problem, but since I have switched to the iPhone 5, I have to log in every time I come to the Buffistas. Help!
