I wanna die in bed surrounded by fat grandchildren, but guess that's off the menu.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Anyone use feedly? Their service has been out for me all morning.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

It's down for me too.

Oh no!

Speaking of feedly, a couple of days ago the app on my phone changed from black printing on white to white printing on black-- does anyone know how to change it back?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I have three NAS and each has DLNA serving software of different types. The Twonky on theh Iomega is by far the best--there's a documented bug between the Twonky on my QNAP and my Samsung TV of all things.

But it doesn't have to be a PC. You can get a versatile NAS that allows you to install all sorts of apps (torrenting, home security monitoring, iTunes server, etc, etc) and have it be the media centre of your home without having to do much manual work at all.

Me? I discovered it by mistake when I hit the "Media P." button on my TV and suddenly my file stores were serving.

An "Arduino Compatible and Open Source" flashilght: HexBright

I had to see what was the point in making it programable and Arduino compatible - it's so you can customize the way you control its brightness. I bet you could program it to act like a strobe light.

It is a rather nice LED flashlight--it can go up to 500 lumens and is rechargeable. But it's $119.

Um, can anyone get to BoingBoing?

It's not timing out--Chrome immediately tells me it's not available.
