Thanks Tom - I've been delaying my upgrade for the same reason.

Anyone in the market for a good mirrorless interchangeable lens camera? The excellent Sony NEX-6 is on sale, as this model is being replaced with the new a6000 (which I just bought).
A Ridiculous Deal On The Mirrorless Camera For Everyone
eta: MIrrorless means it's like a DSLR but it lacks a moveable mirror that sends light to the viewfinder. As a result mirrorless cameras are much smaller than a DSLR. The NEX-6 has an LCD screen and an electronic viewfinder.
3d printing pen - want!
Ooh'. I am!
I thought it looked neat, until I noticed how all the pictures and videos of it working are close-ups with the top of the pen out of frame. I have the sneaky suspicion that you have to manually push the plastic dowel through pen with your other hand. It's kind of a glorified glue gun.
Isn't it just the 3Doodler, but a little smaller?
If anyone runs into a working motherboard for a Dell Inspiron 1545 for under $20 let me know. I'm randomly checking eBay and Craigslist, but you never know.
I gave my sister my Galaxy Nexus phone that I bought internationally, and it won't recognise a Jamaican SIM. I bought it internationally because of the lock question--what could be stopping it? Would the fact that she used the SIM in an old style Blackberry be relevant?
I am thinking this is something she needs to chase down in JA, though. It shouldn't be a phone problem...
(Her BB connects to TMobile (my provider) seamlessly when she's here. I don't know.)
Near as I can tell, there's no reason it shouldn't work. My guess is it's something with the SIM, not the phone.
She's tried 2 separate account SIMs now (one not BB), so I told her to take it to her provider.
