Woot!
AND my birthday money arrived today too. IT'S A SIGN.
Got a question about technology? Ask it here. Discussion of hardware, software, TiVos, multi-region DVDs, Windows, Macs, LINUX, hand-helds, iPods, anything tech related. Better than any helpdesk!

That's some good news indeed.
Frack! My iPhone has turned off and won't turn back on. I have tried charging it with my regular plug in cord, with it connected to my USB, with my extra USB cable and it won't turn back on. I haven't dropped it recently, it was just sitting next to me on the couch and then it was off. WTF.
I can haz Note 3!!!
I feel like an idiot because I have no idea how to use Android AT ALL. Is there a "for dummies" site out there that will teach me the basics?
iPhone is working now. Had to do the Home & Hold button restart. It booted up, fully changed and no loss of data that i can see. Grrrr...had me flipping out for a while there.
Learned something new. Game Stop sells refurbished iPhones. CJ was able to get an iPhone 4 with his house sitting money. Now we just need to get it activated. Too much phone crap today.
Jessica, not that I know of. Especially since different versions of android have significant interface differences. The key things for ios users to get used to seem to be "dont forget your apps are in the app drawer not on the main home screen" and "remember the menu button is there and click it for more options"
Jess, here's lifehacker's take on it: [link] I haven't actually read it, but if it's true to form, there will be gold in the comments.
Awesome, thanks.
Jess, I'll be super interested to see what you think about your new phone. I am considering jumping ship from the iPhone too.
