FWIW, the trouble with the bomber making all the wires the same color is that it would be VERY easy to make a mistake putting the bomb together, where a crossed wire can and will 'hoist you on your own petard.'

Literally.

It's been quite a while since I've seen white and black in a plenum rated speaker or bell wire. I believe most manufacturers have standardized on the red and black combination so that the low voltage characteristics of the unshielded plenum rated wire you linked to can't be confused with a high voltage connection which would have black and white, and then hopefully a green wire.

I haven't actually been told what this is for, but my best guess is for low-voltage LED fixtures built into scenery and that we'll leave the wiring in the scenery for future use (but we don't want the sound dept to try attaching speakers to it).

Oh, but the speakers would be fun for that microsecond.

ita I have not used the one hand feature because I am a two thumb typer. I find I am faster and more accurate that way than with Swype. I am using the Samsung keyboard right now but it doesnt autocorrect by default so I keep making mistakes. I like the button size and the always visible number keys though, and I find Swiftkey's autocorrect to be TOO pervasive, so I will stick with it.

Hwre: [link] should have shots of the keyboard in full size and in shrunk mode. You switch back and forth in the settings or with a pinch gesture though it's not super consistent.

Thanks! I've seen it, though. I was wondering if it was useful, is all. I haven't used the Samsung Keyboard alternate tablet options, like split keyboard. If I'm not handwriting, I haven't found anything I prefer to Swype, so far.

But the guy I showed the one-hand keyboard was very excited by the prospect. It sounds interesting, but if it has the same limitations as the handwriting one, frustrating.

I mean ther is a built in Swype like feature that works okay. I am typing this sentence using it for testing. I have freakishly large hands so have no need for the one hand mode even when I amusing the gesture typing.

I've tried their swiping feature, like Swiftkey's, like SlideIt's. I just don't like any of the implementations other than Swype.

No luck finding CJs iPhone. Does anyone have an AT&T compatible smart phone that they aren't using? With his search and rescue he needs a smartphone for responding to calls but I can't afford the full price of a new one. I can pay for a used one.
