I'll text it with my phone number and hope someone calls. The phone is locked, so they can't just get in the contacts to find last called or something.
Can you read a text on a locked iPhone?
Got a question about technology? Ask it here. Discussion of hardware, software, TiVos, multi-region DVDs, Windows, Macs, LINUX, hand-helds, iPods, anything tech related. Better than any helpdesk!

If you have your notifications set to show texts on the locked screen, then yes. And he does.
Try Belden 8460
Thanks, Omnis, but that one doesn't have an outer jacket.
I believe so. It's plenum rated too, iirc.
It's been quite a while since I've seen white and black in a plenum rated speaker or bell wire. I believe most manufacturers have standardized on the red and black combination so that the low voltage characteristics of the unshielded plenum rated wire you linked to can't be confused with a high voltage connection which would have black and white, and then hopefully a green wire.
If I ever need to diffuse a bomb, I am so calling you guys.
Hey Kids, I purchased a Logitech c920 webcam to do some vlogging but I'm having some trouble with it. The frame is way too big, zooming trashes the focus and the tracking is slow. Plus, I look _terrible_ in HD (okay, that last one is just me).
Is there a better webcam for a mac mini running 10.8.4?
eta: I should add that I downloaded the Logitech Camera Settings app and changed the zoom to portrait, rather than landscape. The result was super grainy.
I also want to use a webcam for video chat but have not been able to test this yet.

Nope, don't call me. Bomb wiring is entirely dependant on the mad person who built the bomb. Rules? They don't need no stinkin' rules! (Or they wouldn't be building a bomb!)
Make all the wires the same color, mad bomber!
ION, What is the best way to make accessing public wifi hotspots as secure as possible? One reason I got my tablet was so I could check my bank balance when I'm away from home, then I realized accessing my bank balance away from home could be transcendently stupid. Is there something I can put on my Android tablet that will help block the evildoers?
