A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

Here are the system requirements for Ulead Video Studio Pro from their website:

  • Intel Core Duo 1.83 GHz Processor or AMD Dual Core 2.0 GHz Processor (Intel Core i5 or i7 Processor, or AMD Phenom II X4 or X6 Processor recommended)
  • Microsoft Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows Vista or Windows XP with latest service packs installed (32-bit or 64-bit Editions)
  • 2 GB of RAM (4 GB of RAM or higher and 1 GB of VRAM or higher recommended)
  • Minimum 1024 x 768 screen resolution
  • Windows-compatible sound card
  • Windows-compatible DVD-ROM drive for program installation/Windows-compatible DVD burner for DVD output (Windows-compatible Blu-ray Disc™ burner for Blu-ray Disc™ and DVD output recommended)
  • For editing of UHD/4K and 3D video, an Intel Core i7 or AMD Phenom II X4 with Windows 8 64-bit operating system and 4 GB of RAM or higher is recommended

I imagine it's one of the first three that caused trouble when you installed. Do you know which?

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

Hmm, 1.9 GHz processor, 3.48 GB usable RAM, Windows Vista, I got all those. Maybe I'll have to try and reinstall the demo to see if it gives me a specific reason why it refused to dl. This was back when I wasn't having problems.

Thanks Jon and Gris.

brillig

I'm seeing many fingerprints on my new tablet, and I'm wondering what the best way is to clean it. Research tells me a microfibre cloth dampened with regular water is sufficient. Do the Buffista experts concur?

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

I just do microfiber. No water needed.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Did you all see the major Adobe security breach?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Trying the handwriting keyboard on the Note for the first time. The recognition is great, and I am okay with the delay since it lets me GO back and insert missing letters where there is room . The capital recognition is hair trigger (see above) and I haven't worked out how to write a comma yet.

General thumbs up, though. Hey! Comma!

All Keyboards should keep word options in their buffer so you can pick from them on reread. CASE.

Hey. New board.

All Keyboards should keep word options in their buffer so you can pick from them on reread.

The fact that Swype does this and Swiftkey doesn't is the only reason I still sometimes prefer the former.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

It's the big weakness of the handwriting recognition. If Swype does this one day too--I may never put the stylus down.

You know the Samsung ads where onlookers ask questions? That was me, in the doctor's waiting room. Very funny. It understands my writing! Here are my widgets! Look at my open apps!

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

It is fine to have handwriting recognition as an option. But I hope handwriting never becomes the primary option on computers. Cause given my handwriting I would be completely screwed.
